Since we go to Curaçao every year, we’ve become experts at hunting down the vegan food all over the island. Over time more and more places have started offering a plant based option at their restaurant which is awesome! Because we visit the island a lot, we feel like we have a pretty solid list of where you can find some vegan meals. There are actually a few places that we still haven’t tried that offer an option (because it’s always closed when we want to go haha, you know island time :P ) which just goes to show you that even though Curaçao is a small island, there’s more possibilities than you think! Let’s dig right in, shall we?

The Sane Sister

Located inside Nut House, and amazing shop with fresh nuts and produce is The Sane Sister. An incredible Juice Bar that is 100% plant based. You can find Vegan Smoothie Bowls, Fresh Juices, Snacks, and even get an amazing coffee. Highly recommend checking out Nut House while you are there too for some amazing snacks.

Maira’s Kitchen

A Mediterranean inspired restaurant in Otrobanda with a few different vegan options on the menu including salads, falafel, pitas, and a veggie burger!

Bali Restaurant Grote Berg

We love stopping at Bali on our way home from the beach because you pass it on the road. They have tons of vegan options on the menu! There’s an entire vegetarian platter that is tons of food, as well as many Indonesian vegan dishes on the menu as well.

Bliss The Berry

Amazing for smoothie bowls, smoothies, and coffee. The presentation is also extremely photogenic!

Munchies

Munchies is a great grab & go cafe in Curaçao. They have great coffee & a few vegan pastechis as well. A Pastechi is a local Curaçao food, kind of like an empanada, but it’s traditionally made with meat, cheese, or fish.

Pasawa Box Eatery

Pasawa is a fun, indoor food hall that has an elevated food truck feel. They have a few vegan options inside from different vendors and it’s just a really fun, vibrant place to hangout.

Serafina

Serafina is an elevated Italian restaurant in Pietermaai. They have a bunch of Italian dishes and a few vegan options as well!

Soi95

Soi95 is an Asian-inspired tapas restaurant in Pietermaai. This is our favorite restaurant on the island at the moment! The food is delicious and they have a ton of vegan options. Thier rooftop seating is also a vibe!

La Reina

La Reina is a cute, local cafe in the Pietermaai district. They have some of the most amazing coffee on the island & good vegan breakfast & lunch options. They change their menu often but they are really good about having or accommodating vegan options. La Reina also has a concept store inside with really cute, local products!

Bario Urban Street Food

Bario has a street food combined with a restaurant vibe where you can order from a few different vendors inside. Anything from the vegan vendor Berdura is amazing! This makes it a great place to go with vegans & non-vegans because you can order from all different vendors inside.

Poke Food Station

This is a great spot for a quick or on-the-go meal in Curaçao. Our favorite is the make your own poke bowl with their Watermelon Tuna. You make your own poke bowl & choose the ingredients so it’s very easy to make vegan. For protein they have the watermelon tuna & tofu!

Van Gogh Specialty Coffees

Van Gogh is another cute coffee spot & cafe in the Pietermaai district. They have delicious coffee & breakfast/lunch options. They also have a Vega Pastechi. A Pastechi is a local Curaçao food, kind of like an empanada, but it’s traditionally made with meat, cheese, or fish. This place happened to have a a few vegan ones!

De Dames

De Dames is a cute restaurant in Willemstad and is great for breakfast or lunch. They have a few clearly labeled vegan options on the menu as well as smoothies, juices, and coffee.

Hofi Cas Cora

Hofi Cas Cora is a local farm as well as a farm to table restaurant in Willemstad. They are only open on the weekends, but they have clearly labeled vegan options on the menu as well as great coffee. Don’t forget to walk around and explore the farm after you eat!

Disfruita Más

This is our favorite batido truck on the island! A batido is a local drink on the island, kind of like a fresh fruit smoothie but it is traditionally made with milk. You can pick any flavor and just ask for no milk in it. Our favs are Tamarind and Watermelon. They also have snacks and they do have vegetable arepa as well.

Number Ten

A cute cafe in Willemstad. They have delicious coffee & a few vegan options on the menu. They tend to change their menu seasonally but they is usually at least one vegan option here.

Kafe 5999 + Downtown 5999

Kafe 5999 has really fun & unique coffees and most of them can be made vegan! They also have a few vegan options on the menu for breakfast or lunch as well. They also have a new location called Downtown 5999 in Pietermaai!

Batik Asli

Batik Asli is an authentic Indonesian restaurant in Willemstad. They have a few vegan options on the menu like the Vegan Nasi Rames which is like a vegan tasting menu of all the delicious Indonesian dishes!

Ginger

Ginger is a delicious Indian-inspired restaurant in Pietermaai. They have a few vegan options on the menu including a vegan curry.

Rozendaal’s

Rozendaal’s is a family-friendly restaurant in Pietermaai that has great local dishes. They have a few vegan options on the menu and will make accommodations if you ask!

Mosacaña

Mosacaña is a lively tapas restaurant in Pietermaai. They have fun twists on dishes using local ingredients, delicious cocktails, and they have a few vegan options on the menu. They can also modify certain vegetarian dishes to be vegan as well.

Cafe Barista

A great local coffee shop with alternative milk options & some veggie options on the menu.

James

a cute cafe in Pietermaai with delicious coffee. They have non dairy milk and also a few vegan options on the menu including avocado toast, mushroom toast, and a lentil pastechi.

Restaurant Playa Forte

Located at the top of Playa Forte beach, this restaurant has amazing views and an entire vegetarian/vegan section of the menu with clearly labeled vegan options!

Mr. Tequeño

Mr. Tequeño is a latin inspired restaurant famous for their tequeños (fried cheese stick). While those aren’t vegan, they do have a vegan bowl, sandiwch, and arepas! Just make sure yo ask for no cheese.

Bijblauw

The restaurant in the Bijblauw hotel is delicious and has a few vegan options! The acai bowl is beautiful and yummy and the restaurant has a nice view of the ocean!
